sure. the firebox insert is a linear burner system from Sparks Fire. this system allows you to do a site built firebox that you place the burner in. so the firebox is not an entire insert, if that makes sense. they certainly make firebox inserts if you do not want the hassle of providing a masonry firebox. but the linear burner system gives you flexibility on length. hope that helps

I was planning on doubling the size (width) of my fireplace and I love your design as inspiration. Do you know if i need to move the chimeney?

The tile is French Blue Limestone, 8x16 from Ann Sacks. The surround around the tv is a wood veneer cabinet, the veneer is reconstituted ebony.

Is the wood vener cabinet just cabinet wood covered with wood vener?

It is a Ebony veneer over an MDF substrate.
