I love how it doesn't look cluttered! the white book/pic case is a great idea. I see you have some empty space at the top, have you considered some decorative pillows maybe 3 or 4 and u so and using the sides of the case for a few pics maybe? your home looks cozy!!!

Looks very nice and a clean design. Very serene. Nice job! The one thing I notice is the mirror (with flower photo), or whatever is hung over the sofa might be high. Hard to tell, though. I'd just look at the whole wall with the bookshelves too and look for balance with how it look all together. Beautiful all round!

Agreed, great job with decorating. The only 'improvement' I would suggest is changing the wall color to a softer tone rather than the stark white.

It really is looking great. I love your sofa & chandelier in particular. The only thing I see is, you are using only the lower portion of the room. You need larger art, possibly a large tall mirror, big pieces in small spaces. After that I would revisit possibly a little darker shade of paint on the walls...and if your ceiling is smooth, paint the ceiling the same color it will expand the space greatly. Really simple crown molding would also be a plus.

Nice transformation! However, it needs color and contrast in the pillows. Larger art on walls and art above the TV. Dining area could use a table cloth to hide the dark wood. The dark chair should be lighter or a color in the art. Larger area rug and a rug under the dining table. Dining chairs look too small for the table. Larger and colorful are the missing factors.

Brandi, we all agreed it was well done. However it could be improved with the changes suggested. That is the reason people post their rooms for ideas and comments..? I hope lynnmills posts after pictures with the suggestions. I love the style the room is taking on. :-)
