Curtain and swags

I recently got a long swag fabric to create a natural swag like look. The only problem I am having is this is not holding it well as I move my curtain since both are on one rod. I need suggestions on how can I avoid this issue- get a dual rod where one can hold the curtain and other the swag? also, any other ideas?
