A freestanding gate would work perfectly between my kitchen and living room, the opening is at an angle and would not accommodate the spring style. My question is, is this gate weighted at the bottom? My newly rescued dachshund likes to knock down the gate I am currently using, so we are needing something stronger. anxiously awaiting an answer.
