"chelsea gray" (HC-168) is a nice dark grey to use. If it's too dark you can go for "sandy hook gray" (HC-108). Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I want to use Revere Pewter in an open floor plan: living room/dining room then a shade darker in kitchen to complement creme glazed cabinets. Would those grays do well in that scenario? I have a lot indirect light but don't want to go too dark. Thanks!

You can use HC-108 (Sandy Hook Gray) in the kitchen. It's a bit darker darker than Revere Pewter and will connect nicely with splashes of dark gray in your counter top. I can't see any back splash in the kitchen, if you haven't got one yet, you can look into either glass tile, ceramic or natural stone mosaic. You can set HC-173 (Edgecomb Gray) as the main color of the back splash and play with few shades lighter and darker through the material you choose. This way the color of the living room and kitchen will be pulled together. Some back splash ideas are attached just as guideline.

I got a paint chip of the sandy hook gray and it's a little darker and more green (?) than I think I'm looking for. What would your 2nd choice be for something a shade darker in the revere pewter family? Maybe a Sherwin Williams color? (I have a fan deck.) Thanks!

With the Revere Pewter wall color, what did you use for the baseboards - we were thinking OC-45 Swiss Coffee for the trim. thoughts ?

Is that a third shade of gray in the little area by the doorways, or is it just shadow? If it is a third shade, can you please share what color it is? Thanks!

@ nikkistaib: Sorry for delay - No there is no 3rd shade of Grey used, it's the shadow in the picture.

FYI: to anyone who is interested in the Revere Pewter (BM). It will ONLY look like that shade of grey if you have amazing natural light. Otherwise, it is still a very nice color, but it has a more "taupe-y" looking hue to it. You need a very good amount of natural light to get Revere Pewter looking that bright and crisp.

I'm in a state of analysis paralysis. Have brand new white kitchen cabinets with sea glass backsplash but open to a great room. Right now have Ivory Ground paint and have blueish/grayish drapes. Need a color to tie in everything but have put up 17 samples and none are right!!! Please help!!!!
