My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How was this reclaimed wood finished? Was it left raw or treated with anything once the cabinet doors were made?

      It looks like Cerusing. We always seal the wood with a spray laquer product.
      The clear coat will help when cleaning is needed.

      This looks as if it were made with "scrap" wood -- maybe even pallet wood? Does anyone know if this is reclaimed wood or what? I'm redoing the galley kitchen and like this look.

      It's reclaimed oak, finished with a white wash stain and then a Duravar clear finish for protection.

      Could I use Populer wood for a project like this? It is a very white wood, have heaps of it that I got for free from the saw mills.

      Poplar has a very different grain structure. While it is very white, it's a very different look. We used oak. It then got a white wash stain and eventually finished with a clear Duravar finish.
