I just installed the drapes on my family room. What do you think? what else can be added to finish the look? Thank you in advance

That is a very well put together room, very nice. I love the turquoise color that has been interjected into the room. (Looks turquoise on my screen anyway)

Not sure if a pro designer would suggest the drapes actually touch the floor or not. What is the next length you could have purchased? Maybe the rod could be placed all the way to the ceiling to accommodate the longer length.

Other than that minor issue, the room is very pretty.

Another possibility is to post this on "design dilemmas" as you have posted in "other". :))

I agree with unwanted's advice. Curtains should be just touching the floor. The straight drop,gives them a great 1960s look. I also would like to see a turquoise or red ornament on your coffee table to draw the colour out from your sofa.

Also agree re the curtain length. Could you add a strip of patterned fabric to the bottom of the curtains since I like the fact that they are hung high.

I would add a few more cushions but I really like lots of cushions.

Well it's curtains for this thread. I would change the red and brown throw pillows for greyed down pastel colours, for a more fashion forward look. You could paint your base board under your drapes in a darker colour and the length would not be as noticeable.
