I am looking for a 9x12 rug for the living room...can't decide if i should go neutral with gray or surprise with purple/plum. I am considering a combo of the two, but it has been hard to find.
Wondering do my hallway rugs need to match living room rug color. Considering a trellis type rug for the hallway but not sure how a trellis design will look in the LR with a large rug.
Also my hallway is 15 ft long, hard to find a rug that fits that, but many 12' rugs like the one in my picture, should I go with 12' and get a smaller rug for the door or get two 7' rugs. I think i would like the symmetric look of two identical rugs but if i go with a trellis rug concerned the ivory/white part may get dirty from folks walking in front door. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I am thinking of getting a rug for the DR down the road, should it match the LR or just be similar color?
