    The roofing is 26 Guage pre-weathered Galvalume (wwww.aaametalworks.com). The siding is James Hardie products. Hardie boards and batten strips.

    you just answered my own question. Thanks a bunch. We have a 70's version, live in semi tropical and think its time it had a slight rethink regarding siding, of which there is thankfully not much. I'm guessing the siding would be suitable for dormer windows too.
