East facing small kids room - colour required!!

Please, help! My daughter (2yrs old) room is up for decorating, she is in an east facing room and all colours I like look somewhat dull! I really would like a colour to make it fun to be there, but I'm struggling because the room is smallish (3.20m x 3.40) and I need something that will make it feel roomy to!
All and any advice are welcome! Thank you!!!

Yellow and/or green tones can liven the space up! I would recommend picking a color that isnt too distracting and adding character through patterns and vibrant accessories. It would be best to choose a color she can age with so you wont have to repaint in years to come!
