This is a standard 36" base cabinet with a pull out shelf accessory added. With only one pullout and the upper shelf for storage, there was plenty of room for bottles. Unusually tall bottles may not work but check with your kitchen designer and they can help measure out any clearance to ensure a good fit for you.

Let me attempt to answer this in a DIY kinda way. Think of a drawer and how it opens, brackets on the outside of the drawer slide into brackets on the inside of the cabinet. Well, no difference here. Brackets on the bottom of the drawer slide into brackets on the inside on the bottom of the cabinet. Hope that helps!

Or just think of it as a giant 'regular' drawer. More support if sliders are on the bottom, I think!
