Patio material and process

The patio is beautiful. It looks to be some sort of concrete. Any help understanding the stain, process, or however it was done would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thanks. The concrete has an integral color which was a light tan in color. A darker color 'release' was sprinkled on the surface and then we used a "heavy texture" rubber mat to make the surface of the concrete look more like stone. I'm not a fan on patterned stamps, so after concrete was poured we sawcut a 3'x3' diamond pattern so the surface actually looked like a tile. A 'wet look' glossy sealer was applied and then reapplied 3 months later. Hope this helps!

What was the "release" color? It seems from the photos to have a slight purplish hue to it. This is exactly the color I envision for my patio.

It has been a long time...the brand was Butterfield. I can't remember the release color or base.
