I would continue the countertop material up onto the wall above it on the sink wall. Also the room is asking for color & pattern. I would add a roman shade on the window, and I would choose a gray & white trellis pattern fabric for it.

The room came out beautifully, I especially love the "cornice" type piece over the sink. And the sink base cabinet with the bump out and feet. Beautiful.

I love the wall color with the granite. It matches beautifully.

This looks great! I think taking the cabinets to the ceiling makes a big difference. I think a roman shade in creamy white and taupe/gray (wall color) would pull it together. Just another thought:-) a stone back splash between the counter and top cabinets, simple clean design behind the stove with a shelve.
Adding more texture would just add a little to your beautiful room and great job.
