Fav coffered ceiling pic on houzz! Is ceiling same color as walls?

I'm wondering if it's better to paint the ceiling a bit lighter or darker than the walls to make the space feel taller.

Yep, the ceiling in this room is the same color as the walls. You can always go a shade or two lighter or darker than the wall color if you want some variation.

I think someone else said it's SW Wool Skein, but in my north-facing room that color was a bit too cool so I painted the walls BM Monroe Bisque, ceilings 50% of that color, and trim BM White Dove. Love how it turned out.
