I've got leathered quartzite and I love it. No problems at all. I had chosen a polished slab and then paid extra to have the polished slab leathered.

Natural stone a quartz are a big difference. I'd recommend getting a sample of the honed granite and take it home and play with it. Put some food products on it and see if you would be able to tolerate the look. Shy away from the lighter colors on the natural granite, it will stain.

William, mine is natural quartzite, not manufactured quartz. Of course, quartzite is a completely different stone than granite so my experience isn't with granite.

Help me, this is an organic slab, right? If so, amazing product and not cheap, very cool. White, yellow, rose? Hardness rating on quartz is 7 so although I would go with a polished look you are not going to have any issues with a honed finish. Where are you sourcing / what the "brand" of the materials?
