Sunroom furniture and design

I am using my living room furniture to get ideas for furnishing my sunroom. In th attached photo I have a chair in the corner, a sofa against the wall, and a table at the windows. I envision a shorter long table, so I can have plants sitting under the windows. My question is, is this too much furniture for such a small room? Is it cramped? If I take a piece out, it looks bare. I also tried a loveseat in both spots as well. I have a desk that I wanted to use in here, but I decided it might work well in my bare hallway. I attached a photo of this as well, hoping for some inspiring ideas to spruce up this hallway desk space. Thank you!

I think this furniture is too large. A smaller couch that is not as deep would probably fit better. One of those apartment sized sofas. Keep it to one cushion on the bottom to make it appear bigger. If there is anyway to squeeze a smaller but still comfortable chair in the corner across the couch but closer to the doorway, the person sitting there would get a view out of the far window versus looking back into the house. I can't really tell if you could fit something. A very skinny table that is shorter could work under the window or maybe a large but low potted plant (maybe a peace Lilly that doesn't get too high?) and you could possibly squeeze your desk under the smaller window, then the room would be multipurpose. I think it is too tight in the hallway where you show it. It blocks the doorway too much. You could also have a garden stool or two to float in front of the couch or to be moved around as need for a place to rest a drink on. If you want more plants, maybe a fiddle leaf fig in the corner between the two windows will add height.

I think you need to decide what you want to use the room for first and then furniture to scale. In my opinion the sofa and chair are too large for the space. Good luck!

I want to use the room for reading/relaxing, etc. for at least teo people at a time. I kind of agree these are too large. I was thinking maybe the smaller modern type furniture would take up less space. Thanks.

I'd put the desk on the wall in the sunroom. You could add wall shelves for art, plants and organizing supplies. You could spray the chair a bright color to match accessories on shelves or wall organizers. The table under the window could go under the other window by the French door and hold a plant or two. Whatever you put under that window should be low and narrow to not block door. You need small scale chairs in the corners by the other windows. Tiny tub or slipper chairs would be comfy but not overpowering. Between the chairs under the windows a small bench(matching desk chair?) and or storage ottomans could be storage and a place to set drinks. I Like the idea of garden stools as tables or footstools too. Depending on the length of the desk and wall you could add another chair next the desk. Small mobile pieces like chairs and ottomans could be moved around for seating a crowd or enjoying a sunny workspace.

Thank you phaedra and kathleen. I took some items from my house to get a feel for the placement. I think it could work. I am really wanting something Comfortable and cozy, so I guess the hunt is on for some chairs.

It seems a shame to have all of the seats facing in and not being able to enjoy the view. Is there anyway to fit the desk or a small console that could function under the far window? I know I rearranged my home office to have the desk in front of a window and it is nice to be able to look out. Unless you don't like the view?

For now the chair and ottoman, with the desk and another chair for the desk that can also be used for company. Some small tables,a fern stand

Ok, I've done a bit more experimenting and added some accessories from other parts of the house to get a feel. What do you think of this arrangement? I would get another loveseat, white perhaps, and i was thinking of a round ottoman and/or a rug. The ladder shelf could be painted white or replaced with a tall plant. What do desk placement could go in corner or more centered as shown. Would love some feedback!

And i can add a low narrow bench in front of side windows for plants?

why not try a long narrow bench that can be for seating or a footstool/coffee table with a tray. then you have the option for more people to sit in there. maybe instead of a lot of little plants on table tops, get a couple of nice easy to care for small trees for the corners. You could add some small palms on the side table/s. I would not clutter up the pretty windows.
A natural material type rug would be nice just to cut down on sound

Just a thought to throw into the pot: you could build in a very long window seat that will wrap around the two walls with windows and have either drawers that pull out of them or have hinged lift tops with cushions on top......lots of storage! You could put the desk on the wall where the love seat is now and upper cabinets for office supplies. Option number two could be two small scale chairs on the love seat wall with a table between and still keep the window seats. Houzz has a picture of a built in window seat on two walls with open shelves on bottom for book storage. It looks fantastic. I will try to get it on here for you to see.
