You've got a great ideabook with the sleek sofa and wall color. I would find a coffee table with some chrome and glass and other glass / jewel like accessories to make the room sparkle. Don't forget to add at least one accent color to make the space more human instead of looking like a showroom !

In fact I was thinking of using one of the (knock off) Noguchi coffee tables shown in one of the links. Or perhaps a glossy white one. For accents, I'm thinking of leaf-green, orange or red or orange-red, or even yellow. Possibly a mirror somewhere on the a/v wall, art over the sofa, and I was thinking a light-coloured area rug.

Was going to have an art wall on the audio/visual wall and have the mirror over the sofa (so the equipment wouldn't be the 'star'), but I'm not sure if that would work.

Thanks for the links. The brown sofas are very nice but we already have the sofa in my ideabook. We're trying to take time to choose carefully... but yes, I do want to finish the room and enjoy it. Now that the ball is rolling I want to push it as quickly as possible! But you're right, it's probably better to take a little more time to choose well.
