I want to decorate my living room by adding pops of turquoise- I have seen tons of pictures reflecting that from Houzz. How do I make my bedroom look chic and romantic- but cohesive to the house?? Do I need to match it or can it be a totally different blue?? Here's a pic to show what I'm going for in the living room..I have the same floors and wall color- but a white rug. SW Moody Blue is what I was thinking of painting my room- just the walls- leaving the ceiling cream. We have dark wood doors to match the hardwood..and you can kind of ( a little bit ) see into our room from the rest of the house- its open concept. Am I better off to have a gray bedroom??? Thanks!
