My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    renovation911 Thanks so much! This is one of my favorite projects! The cabinetry was all made by Dura Supreme (listed on Houzz) and I recall the tops being Caesarstone.

    who made your venting hood? Is it an external venting hood? if yes what is the route of exit and it a vertical vent with a horizontal segment? Very nice!

    The hood was custom done, part metal fabrication, part stud and sheet rock, a dose of tile and a vent insert. I remember it going up through the roof. The kitchen is a first story partial extension. Otherwise it goes straight out the back wall.......... the fewer turns the better!
