HI -- Find a local supplier to save on shipping . Ask around to designers or custom builders . Or look in high end design magazines like Architectural Digest or Florida Design or House Beautiful or Elle Decor . Word of mouth is also a good source or Facebook or any multi media . There is Anderson Windows or Lux Windows and so on. Take your time choosing because that is a big decision as you know . Get Low -E glass for it's insulating factor .

We live in S. Indiana……same situation. During the planning/design - Anderson higher end but to stay in budget our builder & the supplier recommended looking Jeld-Wen high end line which is estimated to save 10K!…..I'm encouraged because I see it in many of the nicer homes photos (architects, building professionals, etc.) here so take a look. Another brand I've been introduced to at one of the local lumber company/building suppliers - called "Quaker" windows. Mftrd in Missouri, privately owned, been around 70y. As I'm sure you've discovered…..this isn't easy, lots of info and hard to compare "apple to apple" criteria. This is what makes Houzz so valuable to me. Appreciate someone in my area going through the same decision process. I did post a "design delimma" question several weeks ago….."Anderson or Jeld-Wen new home build windows?"
