The shutters I currently have in the living room(see pic attached) are very traditional. I am wondering if the living room would look better if I replace these thin wood shutters with wider plantation style white shutters and then paint the wall behind the sofa a dark color similar to the curtain color in the dining area (see pic attached) to create an ascent wall. Or I should just leave the shutters as they are and put up a nice painting on the wall behind the sofa? Your opinion is greatly appreciated!
