The previous owners of the home renovated the lower level of our late 60's L-shaped ranch with full walkout and used white painted cabinetry, trim and doors throughout. We are beginning the upper level to include 2 Baths, kitchen/mudroom, LR, DR and two bedrooms. I am not a fan of all the white with 2 kids and a craftsman-style design preference. Any ideas on integrating wood into the mix so it doesn't look like two separate renovations etc....
