We purchased a 1960's ranch and took out some of the interior walls to create an open floor plan. The dimensions are 32 x 32 with 8' ceilings there will be two pillars set 12' apart. The only wall left separates the kitchen from the dining room. We are planning to extend that wall a bit. We would like a large island in the kitchen, possibly with a bar. We are also considering adding a pantry. I really want to make the most of the space we have. I would the three rooms to feel like one but don't know how to accomplish this. I know I have a long list of wants. I am hoping when it's done I won't look back wishing We had done it different. BTW the penciled in items are not exact.
