Counter Depth Refrigerator?

About to begin a renovation and need to select a counter depth refrigerator (25 deep/30 wide). All recommendations point to Liebherr and Subzero, but I don't have $5000 (or more) to spend on a refrigerator. Anyone out there happy with the one they have?

Melissa I bought a Kitchen Aid Fridge Freezer - normal measurement and it was (perhaps still is) a total pile of crap. Leakes twice. I have since hopefully had it repaired but my wife and I struggled with your dilema as well.

Finding a cheap counter depth fridge. I found out there are none but did something I think is a little clever.

We framed out the cabinets for the lower units so that a short pony wall was in front of them. This brought our lower cabinets 3.5" farther off the wall.

My standard fridge now projects only a few inches from the lower cabinets and not 8-10" like so many kitchens...
