We are remodeling our master bedroom and I want to add a small chandelier. (The ceiling is only 8', so it won't be big.)

[The first question is where to center the bed-- on the wall behind the bed, or on the windowseat? I feel the bed should be centered on the wall behind it, which also gives more room to walk through the room.]

So then the problem is -- if the bed is not centered on the windowseat, where do you center the chandelier? I say it should be centered on the bed, (because walking around the room, you will visually associate the chandelier with the bed), and the contractor says the chandelier should be centered in the middle of the room. Hmmmmm....!
