My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Was this an original fireplace converted for a stove or was it built specifically for a stove? We are trying to create something similar in an addition that will be new construction. Also, what brand is the stove?

    When we moved into our house over 10 years ago there was a modern gas fire with a marble surround. We removed this and installed this wood-burning stove. Our house is 200 years old so the space would originally have been where the kitchen range stood. The fire is a Nestor Martin that we bought locally. I don't think this model is made any longer - here's their website: http://www.nestormartin.com/
