My bathroom is getting a makeover after 20 years. There was vinyl flooring on the wall that I took off, underneath was glue that I scrubbed and pried off the wall is a darker greyish color and the top of my wall is white. Do I need to prime the bottom before painting it white.

Yes, prime the wall. You may need two coats on the bottom. Start a new post with a photo if you want more comments.
