Material Characteristics

We have a client that is having us bid Belgian Blue for her kitchen tops. We have worked with many limestones in the past but we have not worked with this exact stone. Is there anything other than the typical etching and staining that I should be preparing her for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Lovely work and site by the way. Thanks, Amy

Hello Amy,

Thank you for your question! You are right to share the characteristics of limestone. Like most limestones Belgian Bluestone can etch, stain or scratch. You should just share the general precautions of using cutting boards so as not to scratch the countertop and pot holders so as not to expose the countertop to extreme heat.
