I live in a ski area, and have a large lot. The house faces the street, but the driveway comes to the side of the house, putting people at the back door rather than the front. So they come through the laundry into the kitchen. The problem gets worse as there is a sun room in front of the house, allowing for the ability to come in onto tile floors with boots and snow..... leave them in the front and then enter the living room. But the sun room has a glass slider, not a front door. . . and you can't see the door from where a guest would park the car. . . I am thinking of selling, and trying to figure out how to inexpensively solve this problem.
