Shop for apartment/loft sized furniture to replace the overscale items.Loveseats aren't lounging friendly and make it hard for two people to turn to each other and converse. Are you opening the stairs to this room? That will eliminate a wall for furniture arrangement. Center the TV and put a low credenza (not TV stand) under it. In your case, I'd seriously consider closing the window over the FP, wiring it for TV installation, and mounting the TV on a tilt for better viewing. That would open the back wall for a sofa and you could add a pair of swivel chairs where your big sofa is now to give a more open, rather than blocked up feeling.

You may want to consider something like this modular wall unit. You can get cabinetry that works with your kitchen design, bringing the space together. The shelves and drawers can be moved as your needs change. There is also space to hook up a tv and hide the wiring behind.
