I'd like to get a chandelier for the bedroom- always have wanted one. We have a pretty large room with a king bed and a sitting room over to the side. I know there is a rule of thumb about chandeliers for a table, or a room but if I do something in proportion to the room size, I'm going to end up with a 30' chandelier which I think would be overkill. Does anyone think a 17 " chandelier or a mini chandelier would be too small for a room and the king size bed?
