Need help on island paint color with River White granite.

Hi houzzers! My main cabinets will be BM Simply White. Want to paint island a dark color.. Wall color is BM Revere Pewter. All SS appliances. Help! River White is gorgeous but do I have to use a color in the gray family or ?? Was leaning towards BM bittersweet Choc for island but since the RIver White is so gray-- now I'm so confused!!

I am also doing river white granite and the same paint colors with a similar question. What paint color did you chose for your island?
