It's not important at all - your guests wont be checking out your measurements with a tape-measure while they're washing their hands between courses!

When we built this mirror on site last year, our primary concern was to install it flat to the walls with perfect inside miters. Next day our homeowner asked us to rebuild the mirror because the angle of the mirror was at approximately 98 degrees. What this meant was that when you looked into the corner of the mirror you did not see a symetrical reflection of yourself. We had glued the mirror glass onto the wall and assembled frame around the glass. We pulled glass off and mitered the corners of frame at 90 degrees. Then we held a square against the glass and re-assembled the mirror. We then had to caulk the degree difference between the wall and the frame with clear acylic caulk.

It was clear that this was the only way a corner mirror functioned correctly. Live and learn! BTW, make sure your glass has polished edges where they meet in the center. This line must be clean and smooth to look the best. Good luck

Its been awhile but I believe they were made by American Olean. 1x1 matte finish
