My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    This is leathered/ antiqued "black" granite (eg. Black Pearl, Mesore, Mesabi, etc.)

    Most fabricators can do this to granite. It really brings the stone to life and greatly reduces the maintenance required for smudges, glare, etc. THIS IS NOT HONED. Honed is a non-polished finish as well but can have maintenance issues with smudges, absorbing, etc.
