Thank you. I do like the idea of black garage doors, and those black shutters. I struggle if it'd work with the brown roof and if I should do the door black too. Landscaping def. did help us. It's actually done but I have no pics of that transformation yet. Thx again, your input helps.

add shutters and paint them as well as the garage doors a deep burgundy color! the front door could be black or charcoal color.

Since the garage doors are at forefront of this house, consider changing them to dark natural, rich looking wooden doors like your front door. The white metal doors do nothing to enhance your lovely home.

I would paint out the garage doors not add colour to draw your eye to them.

We love the color combination that Christine R recommended. If you are going to add shutters to this home, we have to recommend that they are properly sized and functional (similar to the ones in the photo Christine posted).

Properly sized shutters should measure out to half the size of the window. We definitely agree that exterior shutters would enhance your curb appeal! We are thinking either a louvered style or board and batten style.

And the middle window has three panes what size shutter for it? the same as the rest? (1/2 window size?) Keep the door Red?

"Off Black" from Farrow and Ball is a beautiful paint. A clotted cream trim would look luxurious against it. Nice house - looks big!

We would say half the size of all 3 windows, that way it looks proportional! Meaning the full size of the left pane and the right pane, plus half of the middle pane.
