I need help designing a bathroom remodel

I have an 8 by 10 foot bathroom that we are going to gut an remodel. We have window in one corner and the toilet is in a small ":room" by itself. We are trying to create a larger shower with a double sink vanity with a tower and trying to decide whether to put in a free standing tub on one wall or put a sit down make up area. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you so much.

It would be next to impossible to make valid suggestions without seeing a plan of the room as it is now, with dimensions, doors and windows marked.

Hi Carolyn, Thank you for getting back to me. I am new to this website and am not sure how to include a plan with my request. Should I draw it and then photograph it or scan it and attach it? 21st century design is a new skill for me! I think whether or not to have a bathtub in the master bath is my biggest quandary. We have two other full baths. Do you have any advice on that?

You can draw it and then scan it as a jpeg and attach it. These days we see more and more homes without a tub in the master, so the answer is NO, you don't have to have one unless you want one.
