Looks fine, liking the curves in both pieces.

It is a nice piece. I think it is too similar to the bed for it to work in that placement. Is there another place in your home it could work?

I'd think for the end of the bed you might want something with contrasting lines and materials...

Perfect for a foyer for putting on or taking off shoes and/or boots. Looks like you tried to match the bed instead of complementing the bed.

It doesn't work in this location. The curve of the bench fights with the curve of the bed. If you're going to put something at the foot of the bed, use something with straight lines that comes up right to the point in the footboard where the curve ends.

If you paint it a soft green out of the rug so the color tones are not the same, but even then, you are missing an opportunity for color and pattern which you need in this room. A regular bench with an upholstered top will do more for you.
