Marble in general is more expensive than quartz.

That is a very loaded question, I would do my research as many people really love the look of marble but it is not as durable as granite. Watch this video for more info.

Quartz and quartzite aren't the same product. Quartz is man made....very durable,even patterned. Quartzite is natural and in my opinion,stunning, as is marble.

As others said, do your homework as there are pros and cons to each and price differential within each category.

I love this conversation. Great information. I am building an ocean-front house in Charlston, SC area. I want granite durability with marble look in my kitchen and bathrooms. (I have a husband and 2 rough and tumble boys!)
I like Nimab marble, grey goose marble, super white quartzite and Micabus quartzite at World Granite. I love the look of all of them. I have been told all of these are hard to ruin. The price it almost the same. Does any one have experience with the durability difference between the these? Thanks!
