My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

is the wood top glued or fastened to the top of island counter

    It wouldn't be glued because the counter is made up of 5 pieces of 2 1/4" thick slabs of solid wood, which means the material is working a lot and would not be happy to be glued down. :) the 5 pieces themselves are not glued to each other, so that they can work individually.
