How did you get the Bougainvillea to hold onto the rock? was there any special planting requirements for these plants other than full sun? I've tried growing them before and I couldn't keep them blooming.

This was my first year with bougainvillea and so I sought help from our local nursery expert. Basically they said it needs to be fed bougainvillea fertilizer monthly and that when you repot it, it won't bloom again until the roots reach the edge of the new pot. So, he recommended only slightly increasing the size when needed. I haven't inquired about blooming when it is planted in the ground, though. They are everywhere here and usually seen trained to look like trees with the vines tied together making a tree trunk shape.
