Paint colors

Please help with choosing paint colors for this open living area/kitchen space. Walls are currently white but need some color! Counter tops and backsplash tile in kitchen is white with dark cabinets.

This is a beautiful room! Paint is a nice way to add colour, but maybe you could add colour with accessories. Colourful throw & pillow ... A colourful accent chair ... If you bake, then get a colourful KitchenAid mixer for your countertop...
If your wondering what colour to go with...take a quick look in your closet, that will give you an idea. Hope this helps :)

Thank you! This furniture is actually staging furniture so the room will look a lot different when we move in. I will definitely implement your tips about accessories also! I still would like some paint on the walls, not necessarily bright colors or anything, just something to add some interest and contrast. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

I really like that idea! I always love gray paint but I was a bit afraid it would be too much. But having the beige in there too will balance it out I think. And yes, was definitely planning on leaving trim white. Love how that looks against a solid colored wall.

What colors and material does your furniture have?

And first look for fabric, such as window treatments. A good color fabric is harder to find than choosing the rght paint color to go with it.

Chocolate brown leather couches and dark brown furniture.

Good point about the window fabrics! Definitely easier to start there and then move on to paint. Thank you!

Check out BM revere pewter if you want a nice warm grey or there's carrington beige which is a great neutral I think will look great with the brown furniture.

I find these paintings quite apocalyptic and dark.

But I never really understood abstract art either, makes me think of 90s fabric patterns. I'd rather have a poster of a nice soothing landscape, a pile of rock or a setting sun, than a black canvas with a red explosion.
