Hi There. If you have windows and a high ceiling, I think this color would work fine for you. It's a bit subjective due to your own aesthetic, and the actual room, but if you are looking for a warm tone, this isn't a bad way to go. When I took this photo, it was a bright, sunny day outside, so this wall is getting quite a bit of daylight on it. At night, and perhaps in areas of your basement which are in shadow, the color will read as quite a bit deeper. Some well-placed and thought out lighting, however, can offset that. It's a happy color without being strident, and worked very well against the light-to-medium wood floors. Hope this helps!

Hi, can I ask where your table is from? Is it a true ellipse, or more of a "racetrack" style oval with straight sides? It's SO tough to find an elliptical table--but it looks like you've succeeded!
