how did you waterproof the brick?

we're doing a similar concept in our new shower and looking for a good brick sealer.

I renovated this Bathroom back in 2003. At that time I used a product called Guardcote matte finish clear epoxy from TCR Coatings in St. Louis. I believe Sherwin Williams has a matte clear epoxy also. Plan on cleaning and resealing every other year. Use TSP to clean. Good luck!
