Need Help picking out curtains!

I have an accent chair and a round, navy blue chevron ottoman on the way. I don't know what kind of curtains to put in this room. I want something to brighten up the room. Is yellow too much? Should I just do a solid color?

    I would not go with yellow.
    Why not go with solid blue silk side panels. Take a lighter blue shade from your print chair. Extend the drapery rod so that the panels extend past the window. Take a green shade from the print chair and sprinkle the color around the room in accessories and pillows. Set a tray on the ottoman with a green plant. I think this will complete the room.
    I love the print chair, solid sofa and furniture piece.
