If you were to put a rug in this room under a white cot with this beautiful colour can you please suggest what colour rug please

The ceiling color was a mix of the blue, White Satin, with one shade darker. If you can access the color cards at the store, you can find that color. I no longer have it's name. We felt the color alone was too dark, so we had them mix the two. I don't know what proportions they used for us.
As for a rug, you're always safe with white or something with blue that coordinates with the same blue as on the walls. Without knowing what other colors or patterns you have in the room, I can only recommend blue and white or any combination that has a similar blue within.

Hi Anne- As shown in the image above, I prefer to use a darker shade on the ceiling to provide ambiance to the space. One or two shades darker is fine, as long as there is sufficient natural lighting in the room for those times you need good lighting. (Doing makeup or homework, for example, will require good lighting. ) Add various lamps and ceiling lights as well to ensure you can light up the space when you want.
