My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Additional stair question

Hello, what is the material used for the stair tread? Also, what is the thickness and span? Is there much give (bounce) to the stairs as you walk up it? Beautiful work!

    Hi - the treads are Ipe (aka Ironwood), a very strong Brazilian hardwood. They are 1 1/4" thick, and span 36" with no deflection. Incidentally the siding on this house is also Ipe.
