I think painting the brick white will give the house a stronger presence...I love all the trees along the back...would luv to see more of your home.

I don't think you need to paint the brick, but I would update the front door and your large window and give more presence to the columns. Also update your landscaping.

If you paint the brick are you then going to paint the chimney? I would not paint the brick.

I hate painted brick outside. White houses are dated. Pick a color to go with the brick or in the shade.

The more I looked at the house the more I like it..I don't think the house looks outdated, but I agree with njmomma about giving the front door a stronger focus.

I like the contrast of the brick chimney & the white from the back....maybe because it's less brick then the front??

I would definitely paint the brick, but in not sure about white. Perhaps a greyish taupe.

And then I would definitely pick a great color for your door to make a statement.

IIMO i would not paint the bricks. I hate to trade a no maintenance feature for upkeep.
I think the house could use more wider posts. They would add weight to the front appearance.

I would change out the front entry unit and wrap the columns to make them more substantial. You could also do a faux beam wrap between the columns. This would give the front more of a porch feel and enhance the look.
