    Hello jesspmac,

You're correct - the wall color and island color are both Stonington Gray!

    Who makes this paint color?

We live in the Pacific Northwest. We have a lot of gray days here. Do you think gray paint would be an appropriate color for my walls? If not what color do you think would be warmer? Thanks love your work.

    Hello bellebeach,

Thank you for the question! First of all, we love the Pacific Northwest - such a beautiful part of the country!

Depending upon your preference and how much natural or artificial light the room gets, gray may be a bit too dark or dreary on the walls. You can, however, keep the room light and bright if you're set on gray by accenting with brighter or lighter furniture and accessories. The key is to really balance the gray out with pops of color or lighter pieces in the room.

If you want a warmer feel, other great neutrals are lighter taupes, beige, or even "greige," a mix of beige and gray, which is often described as "warm gray." You'll still get a cooler, gray-ish look without it feeling too cold. But don't forget the lighter and brighter accessories! They can make all the difference.

Hope this helps, and best of luck!
