Are those the only two choices? What about two frames mirrors --one behind each sink? I think that appearance can look very good.

What about storage needs? Without the side medicine cabinets can you absorb the contents in other places? Or, do you need medicine cabinets behind the sinks for adequate storage?

I wanted to absorb the side storage with the front medicine cabinets, but I am not sure of the look.... With regards to size, I could go 20X40.
I am planning to install a high side cabinet on another wall that could be adequate for storage.

Yes, I already got to the lighting part .... I am considering 4 or 5 recessed lights over the vanity ... LED 4".
I wanted the vertical slim light fixtures if I would install the medicine cabinets, but I do not have much space on the sides of the medicine cabinets, probably 4-5 inches max.

i would do standard cans, rather than LED, still use the 4 inch, but just with a regular socket. that way if you dont like the light from the led you can put in other kinds of bulbs. LED is still not perfect. if you do use it make sure not to get a cool white color temp, make sure it is at least 2700 k. also it wont save you $$ considering you will still be using regular lamps in your vanity strip. once you pick out which mirror you are going with i can add input about the vanity lights themselves.

Good that storage needs are covered. That is key in a happy bathroom situation!

Unless you need the longer mirror for checking appearance (no full-length mirrors elsewhere), maybe use two framed mirrors. It is a nice look. Also, much less expensive than mirrored medicine cabinets (which would need to be large enough to do justice to the space).

Get something the right scale. I can't tell what that would be for your space, but you want to create a nice balance and not make mirrors overwhelming, particularly if they are framed.

If you are looking to update the look, 2 separate mirrors will accomplish that much faster then a wall-to-wall cut mirror. Best of luck.

I agree with two separate framed mirrors. I am redoing my extra large builder grade mirror with two separate framed mirrors and I think it will look great. Good luck!

I think the giant mirrors look a bit dated, as would medicine cabinets. I would find two gorgeous framed mirrors in the right scale. They will really pull the room together and can be a great focal point.
