We have recently bought this house and trying to come up with ideas to bring it up to date, this is our lounge room which we will repaint and get new doors onto the balcony.
I was considering staining the pine floorboards a more grey colour and going for a coastal colour scheme with lots white skirting and light grey walls. One wall has a large window (currently has curtains) which looks straight onto the neighbours house so am looking to either put a frosted film over it and perhaps a new fixed window.
I am not sure exactly where to put our tv in this room currently, I was thinking against the stair railing (which we are thinking of converting into an inbuilt book shelf).
This picture is with the former owners furniture, so consider it a bit of a blank canvas (we own a light grey modular lounge/barcelona chair and eames lounge chair (both black) currently they don't all have to go in this room).
